Safari Niagara was an amazing stop on our recent trip to the Niagara Falls area.Your ticket includes access to so many great activities - in addition to the zoo, there are paddle boats, the gator express, a carousel, ropes course, catch and release fishing, a budgie walkthrough, and our personal favourite - an amazing splash pad!

Ticket Cost (Regular Season): $39.95 for adults, $32.95 for children 3-12, $0 for children age 2 and under. Off season is cheaper.

Save some $$$ - if you are a member of CAA or the OCT, discounts are available online!

Time Spent: 6-8 hours

Highlights: The splash pad - so many options for different ages, you do need to be close to your child though, particularly small ones as the water is close to a foot deep in some places!

Stroller/Wagon Accessible: Yes! We brought our large stroller and they have wagons you can rent at the front of the zoo. Strollers are able to fit on the Gator Express tram (which takes you around the zoo) however, we felt that given how large our stroller is and that we enjoy walking - it wasn't worth the effort for us to put it on the tram. If you have a smaller stroller, or even better - an umbrella stroller, you will have no problems!

Changerooms, Bathrooms and Nursing Stations: At this time there are no nursing stations available, though somewhat secluded picnic tables are plentiful and are an ok substitute. There are many outhouses throughout the park and they are indicated on the map you are provided with - very helpful for when your toddler simply HAS to go! As far as I could tell the only change table available was in the women's bathroom at the entrance/exit - so I would recommend bringing a change pad with you! Finally, there are only two communal change rooms at the splash pad. Currently they have a notice posted saying that they are limited to four individuals at a time or a single family. They do not have doors so we used our stroller to block the entrance while we were all changing.

Availability of Food: There are small food-truck style restaurants in a few different spots - most serve fries, burgers, hamburgers and wraps. If you are looking for healthy options or have picky eaters, we recommend packing your own lunch and snacks. As long as you have your wrist band you can go back and forth to your vehicle as often as you'd like!

Things to note: life jackets are provided for the paddle boats, proper footwear is required for the ropes course (no flipflops), during our visit the splash pad closed an hour before closing time.
