Restaurant - The Waterfront River Pub & Terrace - Napanee, Ontario

One of our planned stops this weekend was at the beautiful Waterfront River Pub & Terrace in Napanee, Ontario. We had been to the pub before and knew the food and ambiance were both incredible but we had never been with children. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Pros:

Highchair available

Change table available in a washroom that can be used by all parents

Lots of shaded eating areas outside

AMAZING food

Cons:

On the expensive side (especially the kids menu)

We were told we could only have six people at a table (we had eight and because we had a highchair only needed one extra chair - there was lots of space around the table but they said it was because they could only take 6 orders at once.) It seemed a little bizarre to us because the adults were sharing appetizers and you'd never know how many people were there based on our order. Luckily we had an amazing waiter who gave us permission to stay at the one table anyway.

Final Notes: There is a great waiting area along the water where adults can order a beverage while waiting for a table. There is a cornhole board set up which helps keep the kids entertained too!
