No trip to Belleville is complete without a stop at Reid's Dairy - it has ice cream, a playground and even a pond with turtles - what more could you ask for? Reid's Dairy was one of the highlights of our visit to the area (possibly because it was our daughter's first time eating ice cream and she LOVED it).

There is a large variety of ice cream as well as other dairy products available for purchase. One of my favourite features is the various checkout points they offer - if you are in a hurry and know what you want a long line doesn't necessarily mean a long wait. There is a takeout window on the left side of the store front where you are able to purchase ice cream and shakes, and two checkouts inside the store itself - one for their famous loonie* milkshakes and store items (eg: milk, cream, tubs of ice cream etc.), and one for hard ice cream like the one pictured above.

*small milkshakes are now slightly more than a loonie.

There is also a great little playground around the back (left) side of the store and a small pond with turtles - a great pit stop on your travels!

Stroller/Wagon Accessible? Yes!

Washrooms? Yes! Inside the store

Change tables - yes, there is one in the women's bathroom

Cost - depends what you get but ultimately VERY affordable for the amount you get!
